The One Life Letter

I’m starting a regular writing practice.

A place to put words to my story, lessons
I’ve learned, and the things I’m still figuring out.
This is The One Life Letter.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’m passionate about health and fitness but what you might not know is how personal that passion really is.
I grew up in sports, always the “tomboy,” but also always feeling like the “bigger friend.” I watched my parents diet constantly, tried my first “cleanse” at 14, and by the end of high school I was dealing with ulcers, celiac disease, and exhaustion.
At 21, I hit rock bottom. I was barely living on cherry Coke, long shifts at Five Guys, and completely disconnected from myself. Then came the pregnancy test in a restaurant bathroom, a miscarriage, and the wake-up call that changed my life.
That moment set me on a path I never expected:
→ Midnight workouts in my tiny apartment.
→ Earning degrees in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Exercise Physiology.
→ Becoming a nutrition and wellness coach.
→ Navigating Hashimoto’s, divorce, and learning that health isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things for YOU
I created this space to share those stories. The real, unfiltered ones and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. In here, you’ll find:
Personal stories (the messy and the meaningful)
Practical health + nutrition tips
Mindset shifts that actually stick
Honest reflections on what it means to live your one life fully
If you’ve ever felt like you were doing all the “right things” but still struggling. If you want to feel stronger, healthier, and more at home in your own body. Or if you just want to feel connected to someone who is real and has struggled to find her way, this space is for you.
💙 Liz
